Cow Shelter

Shelter and rehabilitation for sick and injured cows in Bhandirvan, Vrindavan and Mathura — protecting the holy cow, the pillar of India’s agrarian heritage.

Objectives

  • Activities to protect & care for cows
  • Save the Cow
  • Set up veterinary hospitals
  • Set up cow shelters in Mathura & Vrindavan

Save the pillar of the Indian agrarian economy — the Holy Cow. Worshipped as a goddess for ages, cows are too often slaughtered once they reach a non-productive age. Each of us can contribute by saying “No” to beef and by supporting the goshala.
